The Development & Research Centre at Swiss Cottage School is the perfect venue for conferences, meetings and training owing to our central location and nearby amenities.
Comprising of a conference room, break-out rooms, drama studios and a number of smaller rooms for one-to-one meetings, we can cater for a wide range of events. Our rooms offer natural daylight; state-of-the art AV facilities and roof terraces with London skyline views. The experienced hospitality team provides a well organised and professional service that ensures high standards and a friendly approach at all times.

The Development & Reseach Centre is situated in the heart of North London and is easy walking distance from Swiss Cottage Underground station. The conference facilities are based on the fourth floor of our state of the art new build special school. Our central location is only a short distance to hotels, resturants & Cafes, London Zoo, Camden Town and the Round House.

- Conference room – 4th floor, suitable for conferences or training for up to 140 depending on seating arrangement. This room benefits from large windows and natural daylight, free Wi-Fi, full AV equipment, breakout spaces and access to a roof terrace. This room can also be divided into two smaller spaces.
- Breakout room – 4th floor, suitable for meetings, training and discussions for up to 10 people boardroom style. This room benefits from large windows and natural daylight, free Wi-Fi, full AV equipment, interactive whiteboard, breakout spaces and access to a roof terrace. This room can also be divided into two smaller spaces.
Refreshments & Catering
Our onsite catering team combine fresh seasonal ingredients with elegant presentation to ensure your delegates are feeling refreshed and satisfied. We can provide catering and refreshments on request ranging from simple tea & coffee to canapés and grazing lunches.
We also have a fantastic on-site cafe offering a wide range of hot beverages, sandwiches, pastries and snacks.
AV and equipment
Our main conference and break out room have state-of-the-art audio visual equipment; the rooms are also supplied with flip-charts and Wi-Fi. Laptops and presenter tool kits can be hired at an additional cost.
Services and support
We can also provide additional services including powerpoint presentation set up and on-site printing. We can also shred any confidential material left over from your event.
